Recomended needles 3½ – 4 mm up on needles 7 mm or higher to emphasize the airy look. Also use Nellie as a follower thread with other yarns.

Permin Nellie is a brushed alpaca yarn in an airy combination with other high-quality natural fibers.

Nellie by Permin consists of 55% brushed Alpaca, 24% Cotton and 21% Merino wool. Alpaca wool gives the yarn a lovely lightness and softness and is pleasantly temperature-regulating and breathable. Nellie by Permin is therefore suitable for both summer and winter knitting. Alpaca wool is also antistatic and does not lint, as other yarn fibers can tend to. Most people will also find that it itches less than other wool fibers.

The color scheme in Nellie is light, but each skein has a nice striped effect, which means that no two knitting projects are the same.
